About Buzzterms
Buzzterms is what happens when a software developer marries a PhD scientist and they both decide to learn a bunch of new things at the same time.
What we were learning
Over the past while, we've been building our skills in:
- AI fluency
- Business development
- Vibe coding
Along the way, we kept running into words we didn't know. Some were brand new to us. Others were everyday words, like “temperature” or “moat,” that turn out to mean something very specific once people start talking about machine learning or startups.
For a while, our solution was to Google a new term every other hour. That got old pretty quickly. We wanted something faster and more consolidated.
So we made it
We created Buzzterms hoping to make it quick and easy to learn new terms.
Every entry is:
- Plain English.
- A 30-second read.
- Sourced and cited.
- Checked by both of us.
Look it up, get the gist, and get back to what you were doing.
Still building, still learning
Fields like AI are changing fast, and new terms show up all the time. We're here for anyone who has ever nodded along in a conversation and then quietly looked something up afterward.
Thanks for stopping by.
