Privacy at Buzzterms
We measure what people read, not who they are.

Readership analytics
Buzzterms uses Vercel Web Analyticsto understand aggregate readership: which pages and definitions are viewed, where visits are referred from, and general device and geographic trends. This helps us improve the reference.
Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies. Its traffic reports are designed to avoid identifying individual readers or following them across websites. We do not enable custom analytics events to collect searches or other text you enter.
AI assistants and MCP access
Buzzterms makes its public glossary available to AI assistants and other compatible applications through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
When an AI assistant uses Buzzterms, the service receives the information necessary to fulfill the request, such as a search term, glossary entry identifier, or category.
Buzzterms does not maintain a separate database of MCP searches, tool requests, or individual usage histories. Technical request information may be processed and retained by Vercel according to its applicable infrastructure and security practices.
AI applications accessing Buzzterms operate under their own privacy policies, which may govern how they process conversations and interactions with their users.
Hosting and technical information
Buzzterms is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process technical request information, including IP addresses, browser details, and request logs, to deliver the website and MCP service, maintain security, and operate its infrastructure.
This processing is separate from our aggregate readership reports. Technical information is subject to the applicable retention and handling practices of the hosting infrastructure.
For more information, see Vercel's privacy notice.
Accounts and advertising
Buzzterms does not require an account to read definitions or access its public MCP glossary.
We do not run advertising trackers or build reader profiles for targeted advertising.

If our practices change, we'll update this page and its last-updated date. This policy describes the current Buzzterms website and MCP service rather than every possible future feature.
